Since the early 1990’s the Scunthorpe and District Motor Sport Club (SDMSC) has developed and promoted Grasstrack racing on their custom built circuit at the Southern edge of the Park.
Grasstrack racing is fast non-stop action which offers people the chance to try
Motor Sport at relatively low cost and learn the art of car control in an environment of fierce competition. Although I only attended my first Grasstrack event last year, I love the enthusiasm, the lack of politics and the real family involvement of the Grasstrack scene and the racing is great to watch with plenty of thrills and spills.
